Aqaba hosts the 34th Jordan Open Golf Championship at the Ayla Club.

The city of Aqaba is witnessing an exceptional movement these days in preparation for the launch of the 34th edition of the Jordan Open Golf Championship, which is scheduled to be organized at the Ayla Club courses from September 2 to 4.

This edition is of exceptional importance due to the increasing number of participants year after year, and the expansion of the scope of the participating countries, which reflects the growing position of Aqaba as an integrated sports and tourism center.

The start of the national golf team camp next Saturday morning at Ayla Golf Club

The national golf team will enter an intensive preparatory camp at the Ayla Club course in Aqaba, during the period from 16 to 21 of this month, with the participation of a group of players of the national team, in preparation for the most prominent sporting event on the Jordanian golf calendar – the 34th edition of the Jordan Open Golf Championship – which will be held between 4-6 September. The camp aims to select members of the national team of both genders to participate in the Jordan Open Golf Championship as part of the Federation’s efforts to develop the sport of golf and enhance its presence locally and regionally.

The tournament saw its most Arab and international participation since it first launched 30 years ago.
